The Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS) will be hosting an eight-day workshop on policy analysis and research methods between March 7 and 17, 2016.
The training will be divided into two batches, with the first held between March 7 and 10 while the second batch will be held between March 14 and 17.
Participants at the workshop, titled ‘Policy Analysis and Research Methods’, will learn about the theory, methods and practical research processes supporting policy analysis, policy implementation and policy evaluation.
Participants will also be introduced to industry-standard softwares such as Statistical Package for the Social Sciences and Geographic Information Systems.
The workshop is open to all members of the public, but particularly those wishing to acquire practical skills in research methods to aid decision-making.
Students wishing to undertake research at undergraduate and postgraduate level are also encouraged to sign up for it.
The workshop will be conducted at the CSPS Training Centre at Simpang 347, Jln Pasar Gadong.
