A series of training courses which combines Strategic Thinking, Strategic Planning, and Facilitation skills and perspectives to build leaders in all organisations.
Our special brand of Strategic Planning incorporates Systems Thinking and Narrative approaches to understanding and managing change which is state of the art for those who want to embrace whole of nation and anticipatory governance.
Course 1: Strategic Thinking (2 days)
This course enables participants to achieve better clarity of purpose for themselves and their teams, resulting in greater self-motivation, stronger cohesiveness, sharper focus and consistently better results. It develops a more strategic outlook that translates into productive and effective actions and more sustainable long-term results. Participants will make better decisions based on stronger logic and a more complete, holistic view, while improving collaboration, reducing conflict, increasing output and strengthening problem-solving ability.
Course 2: Certificate of Competency in Strategic Planning (4 days)
Participants are guided through the 10-step Haines Model of Strategic Management using Systems Thinking: prepare to begin; envision the preferred future; define key success measures; assess the current state; develop core strategies; develop three-year business plans; develop annual plans and strategic budget; prepare to implement; drive implementation and transformation; and conduct annual strategic review and updates.
Course 3: Masterclass Certificate in Strategic Planning Facilitation (4 days)
A Haines Masterclass in which participants attend an intensive immersion and boot camp to demonstrate mastery of the topic and acquire deeper knowledge and competency. The Haines expert facilitator provides feedback on performance and assesses understanding. Haines certification is awarded upon completion. Course 1 and Course 2 are compulsory prerequisites for Course 3.
