Visit from the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office

OCTOBER 6, 2026

A pleasure to welcome representatives from the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam to the Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS) for a productive discussion on potential areas of collaboration and opportunities to strengthen engagement between our institutions. Representing the United Nations were Mr Nikolas Myint, UN Resident Coordinator for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam; Ms Juanita Lourdes M. G. Joseph, Head of the Resident Coordinator’s Office and Strategic Planner; and Mr Ahmad Hafiz, Head of Communications. Representing CSPS were Dr Diana Cheong, Executive Director; Dr Azrinah Rahman, Researcher; and Dr Sufrizul Husseini, Associate Researcher.

It was a valuable exchange of perspectives on areas of mutual interest. CSPS looks forward to opportunities for closer collaboration with the United Nations.
