AUGUST 5, 2021
The Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS) will conduct the Brunei Barometer Survey (BBS) 2021 starting August 8 – September 7. The objective of BBS is to measure the state of development of Bruneians, their attitudes and behaviours in view of the changing socio-economic landscape of Brunei Darussalam, which will be used to formulate strategic policy recommendations towards the achievement of Brunei Vision 2035.
A total of 1,500 households throughout the country have been randomly selected to participate in the survey. The interview will be conducted face-to face and will take approximately 30 minutes.
CSPS said the information collected during the survey will be kept confidential and used for statistical purpose only.
CSPS has appointed 50 interviewers to undertake the fieldwork for the survey across the four districts. The interviewer will receive an intensive interviewing training prior to the survey.
Selected households are reminded to ensure that the interviewers visiting their premises are those appointed by CSPS through their survey passes, appointment letters and identity cards.
For enquiries regarding the BBS 2021, contact CSPS on 2445821 (during working hours) or e-mail to survey@csps.org.bn or visit www.csps.org.bn.
