The Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS) hosted a visit by a 63-member delegation of young civil servants from Singapore yesterday. The visit was part of the 38th Foundation Course Programme organised by the Institute of Public Sector Leadership, Civil Service College Singapore in collaboration with the Singapore High Commission in Brunei Darussalam.
The aim of the visit was to gain a better understanding of the socioeconomic challenges facing Brunei Darussalam and to exchange views and best practices.
CSPS presented various completed and ongoing research projects including the Study of Youth Unemployment in Brunei Darussalam and the Review and Update of the National Youth Policy of Brunei Darussalam. This was followed by a question and answer session and an exchange of gifts.
CSPS was led by CSPS Chief Researcher Dr Diana Cheong and the Singapore delegation was led by Deputy High Commissioner of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam Raymond Chow.
