A series of training courses which combines Strategic Thinking, Strategic Planning, and Facilitation skills and perspectives to build leaders in all organisations.
Our special brand of Strategic Planning incorporates Systems Thinking and Narrative approaches to understanding and managing change which is state of the art for those who want to embrace whole of nation and anticipatory governance.
Course 1: Strategic Thinking (2 days)
This newly introduced course will allow participants to achieve better clarity of purpose for themselves and their team, resulting in greater, self-motivation, stronger cohesiveness, sharper focus and consistently better results. A more strategic outlook that translates to more productive and effective actions leading to more sustainable results in the long term. Participants will achieve better decisions based on better logic and a more complete and holistic view, as well as higher collaboration, less conflict in their teams with higher output greater problem-solving ability.
Course 2: Certificate of Competency in Strategic Planning (4 days)
Course 2 guides participants through the 10-step Haines Model of Strategic Management, using Systems Thinking: prepare to begin, envision the preferred future, define key success measures, assess the current state, develop core strategies, develop three-year business plans, develop annual plans and strategic budget, prepare to implement, drive implementation and transformation, and conduct annual strategic review and updates.
Course 3: Masterclass Certificate in Strategic Planning Facilitation (4 days)
Course 3 is a Haines Masterclass where participants attend a 3 days immersion and boot camp, to demonstrate their mastery of the topic and acquire more in depth knowledge and competency. Our Haines expert facilitator will provide feedback on performance and assess understanding of the topic. Haines certification will be awarded upon completion of this course. Course 1 and 2 are compulsory for Course 3.
