The Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS) recently concluded the second workshop of its Strategic Foresight and Strategic Planning Masterclass 2020.
Thirty participants were guided through the 10-step Haines Model of Strategic Management using Systems Thinking during the four-day workshop, a press release stated.
The participants comprised personnel from Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD), Baiduri Bank, Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD), Darussalam Assets, Audit Department, Public Service Department, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Ministry of Defence (MinDef), Ministry of Development (MoD), Ministry of Education (MoE), Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE), Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) and Radio Television Brunei (RTB).
Certificates of participation were awarded to participants.
Meanwhile, certificates of merit were awarded to Mohammad Yusri bin Yahya from the PMO, Mohd Haziq bin Mohd Sahrip from AMBD and Johnson Lim Chee Siong from the MoE.
The participants were assessed based on their performance on a written test as well as their level of participation throughout the workshop.
The third workshop is currently being conducted online. Participants are undergoing a Strategic Planning Facilitator Masterclass by Stephen Lin, Asian Regional Managing Partner, Haines Centre for Strategic Management, Singapore and receive certification from the Haines Centre.
