REGISTRATION for the upcoming Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS) Executive Development Workshop Series in Strategic Foresight and Strategic Planning is now open.
This will be the third cycle of the workshop series which began in 2016.
The series of workshops combines strategic foresight, horizon scanning, and strategic planning methodologies to transform executives into leaders of strategic management.
The workshops are innovative and uniquely different from others in its approach as they introduce the emerging fields of strategic foresight and horizon scanning as a major dimension of the entire strategic planning process.
Furthermore, CSPS’ special brand of Strategic Planning incorporates Systems Thinking and Narrative approaches to understanding and managing change, which is an updated approach for those who embrace the whole-of-nation and anticipatory governance approaches.
CEOs, managers, decision-makers and policymakers from both government and private sectors are invited to join the workshop series.
The series consists of two workshops. The first workshop titled ‘Strategic Foresight and Horizon Scanning’ will be held from June 24 – 27. It will cover the main principles and foundations of strategic foresight and strategic planning.
This will be followed by a second workshop titled ‘Strategic Planning Practitioner Competency Certification’ on August 20-21 which will focus more on the practical and detailed aspects of strategic planning.
The workshops will be facilitated by international and local experts in Strategic Foresight, Horizon Scanning and Strategic Planning: Dr Diana Cheong and Yuzilawati Abdullah (CSPS); Dr Sophiana Chua Abdullah (Visiting Trainer, CSPS); and Stephen Lin (Haines Centre for Strategic Management, Singapore).
