The second cycle of the Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies’ (CSPS) flagship Executive Development Workshop series in Strategic Foresight and Strategic Planning drew to a close recently.
The series finale, entitled ‘Action Learning and Evaluation’, was facilitated by CSPS certified trainers, Dr Diana Cheong, Dr Sophiana Chua binti Abdullah and Yuzilawati binti Abdullah.
According to Dr Diana Cheong, the participants would have more hands-on experience and would then be more proficient in drafting the strategic plans for their respective organisations.
Participants came from various organisations including the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Education, Royal Brunei Police Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces, and Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam.
Participants found that the structured and step-by-step approach were useful in creating a strategic plan.
