A delegation from the 7th Command and Staff Course 2017 of the Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) visited the Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS) yesterday as part of their ongoing 40-week defence course in Brunei Darussalam.
The delegation comprised uniformed personnel from Brunei Darussalam, the United States, Australia, Bangladesh, People’s Republic of China, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, Singapore and Thailand.
The delegation was welcomed by CSPS Executive Director, Haji Mohd Rozan bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, who delivered a presentation on ‘Brunei’s Defence Policies throughout history’.
The event was followed by Dr Diana Cheong, CSPS Chief Researcher, who gave a presentation on ‘CSPS’ role towards National Development’.
CSPS researchers also gave a briefing on Economic Cluster study by Dr Giuseppe Rizzo, Strategic Foresight and Brunei Futures Initiative by Dr Ivana Milojevic, as well as an overview on Macroeconomic shocks affecting the Brunei economy by Dr Koh Wee Chian.
